2026, the Empires strike back

Less than a month in January and the kidnapping of Nicolas Maduro, Greenland, without forgetting the Russia-Ukrainian war the continued tensions in the Middle East or in Asia around Taiwanese question already point towards a world reshaped by geopolitical factors. The period is also  marked by the return of power struggles and intensified rivalries between major powers.

Our third edition of the Geopolitical Report realized in collaboration with Herminius explores how political uncertainty, strategic rivalry and weakened diplomacy are reshaping the global order — and their implications for global stability, alliances, or policy predictability. As the United States turns inward and acts more selectively abroad, Europe is forced to recalibrate its defenses, China prioritizes consolidation over confrontation, and regional conflicts remain contained but unresolved. We are reviewing these topics in the Geopolitical report. Understanding where risks are structural — and where volatility creates opportunity — has become essential.
